LIFE LAUNDRY

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Life Laundry is the TV equivalent of colonic irrigation. Home Consultant Dawna Walter and antiques expert Mark Franks visit the homes of self-confessed clutterbugs, flushing out the jumble and disorder, and giving them a fresh start. Each episode sees the entire contents of someone's home emptied out onto their front lawn and divided into three piles. One will end up destroyed, one will be sold in a 'front lawn sale', and the remainder will be allowed back inside. However, these items have been subjected to ruthless scrutiny and nothing goes back in unless there is a very good reason for retaining it. For the volunteer, the worse moment comes as the house is cleared. What will stay and what will go? Will they finally part with worthless memorabilia they have been clinging onto for so many years? Who will be persuaded to get rid of the most junk?
